Uniview Producer is a timeline editor designed to produce real-time planetarium shows using modern graphical non-linear editing tools for control over every aspect of the show.

Uniview Producer provides a powerful means of preparing complex presentations in advance – shows that can be updated easily sourcing web-based datasets for the very latest scientific information. The planned presentation can then be combined with real-time sections for a highly interactive experience. With shows from Uniview Producer playing real-time in Uniview Theater, presentations can be prepared in advance, or interactive Uniview flights – or even a combination of both.

Instead of writing long scripts to instruct the system which operations to perform, this modern graphical approach lets the creator ‘stay creative’. Letting the camera fly from object to object in space is as simple as placing markers on a few key positions in a timeline – or even grabbing them from Uniview Theater as you go. Not only is the camera fully controllable, but almost any parameter of any object can be controlled using the same GUI, all closely synchronized... there are really no limits for your show or for your theater.

Running on a real-time system means that there is no need for time consuming rendering or frame slicing to configure it to run on a particular display system. Simply create the show and it will play in any environment; whether dome, custom, or flat screen. Uniview Producer gives you the power to prepare… and preparation gives you the power to improvise.
